ABC Taproom - COVID-19 Procedures
Our Taproom is currently open on Saturdays 12-8pm. Additional procedures currently in place are as follows:
All our current seating is spread outside over our sheltered beer yard. In accordance with current guidelines, a maximum of six people can sit at each table. Indoor access for the loo will be on a two-in, two-out basis, with toilets cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day.
NO BOOKING REQUIRED
We are no longer accepting any further bookings and are welcoming walk-ins - please wait at the front entrance and a member of staff will seat you at a table.
Staff will be wearing face masks or visors all day, and using hand sanitiser before and after every transaction.
To save you queuing at a bar we’ll be asking you to place your order via WhatsApp to a number we’ll put on our menu - we’ll message you back when your beer is ready to collect from the collection point and you’ll be able to pay via contactless. Just a reminder that we are a CASHLESS venue.
We won’t be coming up to tables whilst they are occupied - we’ll be leaving general waste and recycling bins in convenient places around the yard, so if you could pop your rubbish and cups in these whilst you’re here and on you way out, that would be extremely helpful. Vertical drinking rules apply so we'll need you to stay in your seats whilst you're sipping on your Charlie Don't Surf.
Beer will be poured into eco-friendly, biodegradable cups in 2/3, 1/2 and 1/3 pint measures. If you’d prefer to drink out of a glass, we’ll be selling our new glassware (more on that soon) which we can fill with beer and you can take home after.
We have plenty of bars snacks available, but if you’re in need of something more substantial, you're welcome to BYOF or order a takeaway to the taproom.
KIDS AND DOGGOS
We can’t wait to see your families and dogs, but to begin with we’ll be working on an 18+ only and no pet policy.
We won’t be starting brewery tours straight away - we’ll be contacting everyone who has bought a ticket with available slots when we know we’re ready to resume them.
